I never heard of J. Cole before yesterday, and honestly didn't expect much from his mixtape but I was pleasantly surprised by The Warm Up. Cole is versatile and is able to rap on a variety of different topics. He doesn't need to rely on beats or hooks, I found myself truly enjoying his flow. You wont be able to tell where one verse ends and another begins, the dude just keeps on going. The best part about Cole is that he doesn't need corny rhymes to keep a verse together, which is something a lot of rappers are doing these days. I don't think you'll hear any of his tracks being played in the club but there are no bad songs here. Play it from beginning to end, rinse and repeat.

Got to either the 2nd or 3rd song (after listening to him say a WHOLE BUNCH OF NONSENSE on the intro about how he won't fail) only to find myself literally throwing this CD out my window on I-80! It was after he comes out of nowhere and said something about his sex game and then followed by the line to the effect of "Ass like Serena & Trina/Have u seen her?" Goodbye...out the window....I like this site my man but this CD is flat Garbage...You must have been FADED when you heard this..I don't even have to listen to the whole thing to know it...no Rinsing here....only Washing Away
ReplyDeleteYo man thanks for the comment. I didn't rate this tape, but I can say that this cd isn't garbage. We've come to find out that with these new artists its like a lot of other shit: hit or miss. Music is the most subjective thing there is and we are just tryin' to give you the entire spectrum for people looking to branch out to other parts of hip-hop man. Some people love it, some people don't. Either way, thanks for the feed back, man.
ReplyDeleteI would like to concur with you, I think this album is really good. I think he spits real shit, especially diggin Grown Simba, I get up, and Hold it Down.
ReplyDeletewho ever said this CD is garbage needs to be shot and has no taste in music...this mixtape was one of the best I've heard this year and I'm a producer so I listen to alot more music than most ppl....great mixtape!
ReplyDeleteTo my man who said this is garbage: You don't know what you're talking about.
ReplyDeleteThis mixtape is definately one of the best this year, for a new commer to bring some real shit to the table, not need any of this fake catchy shit you'll hear on the radio is great.
this mixtape is so solid and im already waiting for this man to come out with more shit cause hes the real deal.
ReplyDeletegood pick up by jay-z
ReplyDelete"I let her give me head so she don't remember where I live."
ReplyDeleteThis is a hot mixtape/demo. Most people that don't like it are probably Lil' Wayne fans.
ReplyDeletetyga and j cole are my number favorite ALBUMS of the year. i did say albums btw
ReplyDeleteshits dope....enough said
ReplyDeleteI can see why the first anonymous person remained anonymous. He's clueless.
ReplyDeleteAnd Basim, no need to dis Weezy. The hip-hop world is big enough for all kinds of dope sounds for all tastes.
Fuck ye this album is sick, are u kidding why would you throw it out the window! clown. Listen to the whole thing, finally a new fuckin rapper with a bomb new york style. first song i heard "dreams" when he first comes in i almost shit my pants.
ReplyDeletedis mixtape is hot hands down one of the best mixtapes of the year
ReplyDeleteHot..Wake up and listen to Grown simba..every morning. Its The best mixtapes in a long time.. substance..and a vision.. he works hard .. its shown ..I remember the guy beeing at every event and every show, grinding hard in Ny..I mean He was all over the city..To make the whole city of NY think your Nice..and not just another flasy gansta, or a backpack dude..He is a regular dude that played a lil ball on weekends ,smoke weed fuck hoes and go to school, make beats and rap..Thats real life ..period..
ReplyDeleteThis Shit Hot So Is The Come Up And Yea Grown Simba Get Off But You Have To Listen To The First Dead Presidents On Tha Come Up And Simba I Like His Style He Really Spit Shit Thats True And I Relate To
ReplyDeleteYea the dude up top is wildin....J Cole is niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice...I hope he does big numbers cause he a breath of fresh air for TRUE hip hop fans...
ReplyDeletethis mixtape deffinetly defines the reason as to why Jay-z signed him to Roc Nation
ReplyDeletethis tape is dope everybody needs to listen to this tape
ReplyDeleteglad everyone else is on the same page minus first dude lol but this mixtape is incredible lights please is arguably the smoothest track out right now
ReplyDeleteHe's so cute! :)
ReplyDeleteOh and grown simba beat is the shit!
Listen to his verse on blueprint 3: star is born!
this guy is crazy sick,i should throw u out the window, the kid can really spit ,im not the biggest jay-z fan ,but shout out to hov for spottin this talent, watch how big he gets ,bigger than kanye ,u jus ait n see ,fuck u haterz,j.cole the future
ReplyDeleteYes it is won of the best mix tape in long time
ReplyDeleteJ.Cole is the truth. this miztape is so fucking dope. grown simba, dead presidents, lights please, dreams
ReplyDeleteI saw him in nyu @ some benefit concert. shit was dope i think it was better live than on cd but thats how it usually goes. he's flow is unlike what i have heard in a while, his presence reflects jayz but his flow is his own and the whole cd must be heard.
ReplyDeletelosing my balance is my favorite.
ReplyDeletethis dude is better then nice & a sigh of relief for all of us panicing over who was gonna give us some real shit to listen too.
Just got the mixtape, this shit is soooo dope. I really like Dead Presidents II, Grown Simba, and Dreams.
ReplyDeleteIt's refreshing to hear real hip hop again.
Keep it up J. Cole!
The dude who threw this out his window is what I call a hip-hop homo. A fag would rather throw up than fuck the tightest pussy. The lines he quoted could possibly be the weakest on the tape. But this kid J Cole brings the heat!
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, what kind of exaggerating loser buys a CD and throws it out of a window (first of all I'm assuming you had to take off the window screen first or it would bounce back at you).
ReplyDeleteMore importantly, J. Cole's probably the hottest new rap artist by far (fuck drake that cocky bastard) definitely give each song a chance, it'll be well worth your time.
Dope.
ReplyDelete'nuff said
Damn after I heard drake I never thought I would here somebody that can even come close to compare. When i heard J. Cole and I was blown away. They are equally as good. Good shit my niggas.
ReplyDeletebest mix tape I have heard in at least a year...If you did not like it then you gave up on it too early...It is worth listening all the way threw
ReplyDeleteCD is flames..
ReplyDeleteThis NC rapper brought it hard with this mixtape. The next Big Thing.
ReplyDeleteim a lil wayne, drake, nas, jay z fan always hav been but J. Cole came in and tore it apart hes on some real shit he could be the next big thing whitout a doubt he can be but his music sounds underground compared to drake as hes aiming up for that POP mainstream shit. eaither way they all good making more money than us all getting heard by more people than all of us.
ReplyDeleteyoooooo...fuck dude on top--you obviously aint comin from the struggle and ya fakeness cant relate to the realist bars on the tape-i wake up n listen to this young nigga every day -my favorite song hold it down-dollar and a dream-and i get up(come on nigga are u seriously stupid to say he aint spittin..)nigga who are you j.cole is someone who us teens and future fathers can personally relate too....J.COLE I SUPPORT YOU MY NIGGA IMA BE AT YA SHOWS BRAH HOLD YA HEAD.....
ReplyDeletedamn...niggas going in on the dude who said he's garbage...j.cole is dope man well put together mixtape... he is my blog team theme song lol... "I GET UP" favorite song of the year
ReplyDeleteDude sick.. I was gon quote somethin but fuck it.. the whole mixtape go hard. "THE WARM UP BITCH" J Cole the future..
ReplyDeleteO wait I got one -
ReplyDelete"Better get ya self some goals.
U niggas better dream.
I kno the hood raised u
But its bigger better things."
Now who the fuck sayin shit like dat? Nobody but dis nigga.
JCOLE IS FIRE.... NIGGAS ALWAYS GOTTA HATE ON REAL TALENT....
ReplyDeleteTHAT NIGGA SAID "the flow cold as a shoulder of a gold digging hoe when a broke nigga approaches"
ReplyDeletej cole is the illest rapper ive heard in a while..his shit is reeeealtalk, not none of them 'i get money and hoes and pop bottles' garbage oyu hear alot nowadays...real hiphop
ReplyDeleteI QUIT! J.Cole is too nasty..there isn't one song in this mixtape dat i dont like..he is good as hell at puttin words together..everything this nigga talks about is like a story..none of dat "i got rims, cars, houses, jewelery" bullshyt..he talks about straight up TRUE shyt..and its not only wat he is saying, but also how he says it..and he has like 438 different flows like daayyyuuummmm...he nice wit it.
ReplyDeleteJ.Cole is crazy reminds me of young Nas which is my favorite rapper, people try to compare him to Drake not even close..Drake just comes up with clever metaphors on some pop shit...I'm 24 and I can't relate to the shit Cole speaking about because I got through the same shit I was about to give up on hip-hop will the new hip-hop until I heard the Warm-Up it inspired me to grind harder big ups to J.Cole and nigga up top u probaly think Gucci Mane is the best rapper alive you don't know shit about hip-hop kill ya self.... I swear I walk with God but the Devil keep following me - The Badness
ReplyDeleteMan I swear I love this fucking mixtape...Shit is on constant rotation on the ipod ...From beginning to an this mixtape is a classic
ReplyDeletethis mixtape might is the hottest shit of the year. I cant think of an album that beat this by much if any. this shit hasnt left my car deck in a month.
ReplyDeleteI was losing hope with all the shit that's coming out recently, but this mixtape is ill... can't wait til his next one!
ReplyDeleteI Luv dis Mixtaaape Loosin my Balance is The Best
ReplyDelete"Soon as my dough straight,
ReplyDeleteI'll put wifey in some Dolce,
And Throw some chains on my niggas like I own Slaves.."
J. Cole is by far thee ILLEST!!
"The Warm Up" hands down one of the most complete mixtapes ever put out period. First of all,the tracks that J COLE produced are all very smooth. He's is intelligent and his lyrics are technical he respects the legends. He's true to the hip-hop game and he's not a BACKPACK rapper like EVERY other rapper in the game he is a breathe of fresh air. Something about him I guess I trust him like a trusted Obama. lets hope he stays true to his word.
ReplyDeletefor real to all the haer this kid got it he is gonne be up thier at the top soon for showw..to the fag woow said he was wack is retarded b you dont ow hip hop
ReplyDeletehe beter then lil waynes wack shit and drake hes going to the top........no doubtt
J. Cole is a serious hip-hop artist. Fuck the hater who said that he only could listen to 3 tracks and toss it out the window. Obviously it's not Gucci Mane or some trash-ass shit that's out now. It's real shit... Anyone with ambition or trials and tribulations can relate and bump to J. Cole's shit.
ReplyDeleteThis disc is quality. enough said. love from Milwaukee J.cole
ReplyDeleteA friend recommended that i hear "Lights Please." Listened to the track and i enjoyed it. J Cole is cool
ReplyDeleteJ. Cole not only put together a great piece of work for what's only his 2nd mixtape but with this has also brought some hope back to hip hop. All of todays mainstream music is focused on gimics and what's hot right now aside from a few artist who don't recieve the public shine they really deserve. It's sad that many will not like this album simply because of it's message and the stories it tells rather than the random bars and punchlines that are so popular today from artist like Wayne & Niki Minaj but produce no real thoughts. Hip Hop ain't dead, just supressed by the main stream.
ReplyDeletej.cole is real. straight up. i am a fan of hip hop and honestly majority of it has turned into rapping about drugs, money, hoes, etc etc. j.cole actually comes at you on some real shit and gives it to you like it really is. the world isn't about drugs and hoes, its more about real life & what people really go thru everyday emotionally, physically, etc. j.cole brings it to that level.. a lot of rappers haven't been able to do that and he has definetly brought hope back to hip hop. it has become so sterotypical and j.cole is breaking that cycle with the drop of the warm up. definetly not garbage... but then again that depends on your views and preferences in hip hop. if you're hyped about the underground scene then j.cole is definetly what you need to have in your CD player. i've had this CD in my car nonstop since the day i got my hands on it. addicting. listen to his lyrics and really take them into consideration... he's talkin bout real life and not some sterotypical lifestyle of rappers. come real.
ReplyDeletethe guy that said he threw the cd away must be the biggest idiot in the world, he knows nuttin about real hip hop, throw ur self off the empire state and let me kno how it feels...
ReplyDeletefavorite song in the mixtape is grown simba, i get up, dollar n a dream and royal flush..."they say im like the human body, i produce my own shyt"- royal flush.. say no more, he's the future
J. Cole is the freshest shit out there right now. This mixtape is the best one I've heard this year. Personally my favorite tracks are I get up and Heartache. But this dude can spit some real shit.
ReplyDeletehez real nice ..... at least hez talkin about some real real shit .....a nice lyricist.
ReplyDeletefrom a city where girls wont take they shirt off cuz they titties too small.. but i coud give a damn girl take off that pretty blue bra.. now im in it deep seein just how pretty you are..
ReplyDeleteAnyone who says this Cd is garbage dont like real hip-hop. and by that i mean music with a message or a meaning . This mixtape is better than most albums out right now . this is my shit
ReplyDeleteif u think this is garbage then most likely ur the type that thinks the New Boyz is real hip-hop. J.Cole is a true MC and this mixtape was the best of the year
ReplyDeleteJ. Cole is one of the sickest New School additions to the game. I am an artist myself and by far I listen to some of the illest. Biggie, Jay-Z, Eminem, Drake, Weezy, and J.Cole is really up there and is the future and I am dying for him to jump on suttin wit the other New School beast Drizzy Drake and for the rumors I heard bout J.Cole sounding like Drake, they styles are absolutely different, they are both lyrical genius and thats the only field they compare in.
ReplyDeletefuck the guy on the 1st comment, this shit go hard, j cole bringin that real hip hop back
ReplyDeletehes good !
ReplyDeletethis mixtape made me fall in love wid hip hop again!!! the badness is the track that got me this dude is deep u cant cuss him!!! ive bigged him up all over my blog!!! j cole 2010 is yours about time a real hip hop star made it enough of these fake ass rappers!!!
ReplyDeleteThis whole cd is dope... If you dont appreciate really hip-hop then you should not listen to this cd...come one who else can make a whole verse about paying Sallie Mae back (Dollar and a dream)
ReplyDeletei love this dude. he is sickkk! i cant get enought of his music!! there is no one like him! and never will be. one and only! j.cole! <3
ReplyDeletehaha I just read the first comment and started laughing hysterically, I really feel bad for the people who say they like rap but then turn around and put it down...Please for god's sake dont speak your mind if you have no clue what your talking about lol ...sigh...J. cole man, this guy is amazing, way to bring back real hip hop man
ReplyDeleteI went to highschool with cole and played basketball with him in highschool, the kid has always been smooth with his flows and now the whole world is gonna find out what he really is about big ups cole
ReplyDeleteDude threw a classic out the window j cole is niiiiiiiicccccccccceeeeee I have not heard someone spit that real shit since z-ro yea z-ro is from houston check out his shit but j cole got a lil bit of all the greats in him especially pac and he is smooth with the word play like how biggie was and he got some nas and jay z in him too dude just sick I listen to this shit daily thank you j cole for being the artist that you are Cant wait until the album drop no bootleggin over here im gonna go support real hip hop and buy several copies for me and the fam Stay up J cole dolla and a dream if you have one chase it words from B Da Don
ReplyDeleteco-sign with the Z-ro tip of him bein on point wit real shyt...
ReplyDeleteJ.Cole is the niicest kat underground ryte now. PERIOD. Plz do ya self a favor and dont compare him to Drizzy, he nice too, but they way to different to be compared...
An Gucci is hustlin/trappin music for kats down south to ride and smoke too, dont diss gucci mane, cuz if you ant from the south you A) prolly dont undastand wat he sayin because of the slang B) the stuff he got on radio's ant the real gucci we fukin wit...
BUT yea "Ay, fuk them hoes, let them bunnies be, Perfect vision I'm 20/20 for this money G!"
Cole is the shyt.
man its funny how niggas is just now gettin on j.cole because the roc finally pushed him, but yall dont understand how nice this nigga actually is... his first mixtape i wouldnt say is hotter then this one, because the production was on point to the fullest this time around, but the come up, this nigga let niggas kno like aint nobody in the game really fuckin with him... i mean if u ask me he is the hov of our generation the warm up is a banger fam, 1-22 go hard on these niggas. the nigga demolished dead presidents, and the fucked up part is the 1st time he killed it, yall niggas dont kno jermaine, u still call him j. cole lol
ReplyDeleteJ. Cole is the shit point blank. Anyone who dont like him is a fool. All his songs all got meaning and tell how life is. Things that alot of ppl go through. I, personally am from fayettevill, nc. So, i know what type of shit goes down. Then man is a genius and is amazing. Lyrically no one can touch him. The Come-up, The Warm-up, I cant wait for his next cd.
ReplyDeleteJ.cole is on the come up warming up the game sooner or later rap will be his domain hands down..mad respect roc nation
ReplyDeletedude said he through his tape out u crazy dogg this is real rap im tired of hearing fake shit from weezy n all that nonsense nigga we from planet earth lmao J cole Bannanas Every Track is Fire and if it wasnt jay z would have never signed him STar is Born Nigga said THE FLOW COLD AS THE SHOULDERS OF A GOLDIGGING HOE WHEN A BROKE NIGGER APPOROA CHES Drake u not fucking with Jcole sound like u nagging on every fucking track lmao This man struggled and wasnt rich from the jump shouts to J Cole BIG UP TO HOVA GOTTA LEAVE A REPLACEMENT
ReplyDeletethe day i downloaded the mixtape its playcount hit 20x at least... best rapper out there. J.cole has mad flow and is very real.
ReplyDeletethis mixtape just emits quality and authenticity; proud to be a fan. peace x
ReplyDeleteThis is the realest mixtape ever. Its just soo sick. From the first track to the last is absolutely perfect. Big up jcole! the future is bright for real.
ReplyDeleteI love this man for how real he is. This is pure & honest music. This tape is still on repeat and i've been on it for a while now. It's like for every time i hear it i feel as if it's my first time listenin to it cuz it Sounds good everytime.
ReplyDeletei honestly feel stupid for only learning about j cole 2 days ago..hes easily one of my faveourite rappers now. This mixtape is great!
ReplyDeleteLosing my balance has caught my attention.
And Dreams is such and intelligent yet mezmorizing song..
He needs to keep doing his thing!
yo.. j.cole is the truth!!!! hands downn
ReplyDeleteFrom Jay-z to J- Cole ... Hmmm.. I like the sound of that... ROC NATION BABY.. My favorite song from J-cole is definitely "school daze" .. Reminds me of my highschool days
ReplyDeleteJ. Cole i was locked up all last summer my nigga so the first time i heard you was on the A star is born with Hov...but ya shit fire and like the other dude said aint no bootlegging around here...flatout....just know niggas in Baltimore fucking with you too...and dude up top is crazy..he lost his mind for real if he thinking j cole garbage...
ReplyDeletethat guy whoever said he threw it out the window on I 80 is a retard... I've never heard anybody come out harder in the game than j. Cole than nasty nas!! Ur a retard and u don't kno music for anything!! This is just the warm up!! Lmao.. he gonna feel dumb.. this guy has potential to go down right after pac and big if throws out multiple albums as good as this mixtape... stop smokin ur mids and get on some piff u idiot..
ReplyDeleteto the guy saying he threw it out the window your a fucking idiot. hes probably the realest rapper out so you can fuck off because you dont know shit about real music
ReplyDeletethis tape hard as shit yo shoulda threw himself out the window
ReplyDeletereal shyt this dude is on his grind, u can tell he is hungry and he is about his work. the wordplay just goes together on any beat he chooses to get on. im ready for everything that he comes out with.
ReplyDeletehahah he said the cd is garbage, if you weren't told this music is for lyricist not beat bangers so go some where with that gucci!
ReplyDelete4.5/5
I'm just trippin cuz J. Cole said he saved his best stuff for the album. He's a perfectionist. Best mixtape I've ever heard. This will be the first album I buy in five years, and as an aspiring rapper, he is great inspriration to be on top of my game.
ReplyDeletei'm really convinced somebody out cole's camp wrote that first comment. but yeah, this year's "so far gone" it seems. this guy's not a rapper, you can tell he's studied the game. A-Town
ReplyDeleteCan I Hit It In The Morning?...
ReplyDeleteJ-Cole Kills Every Track He Gets On...
Niggas That Think He Trash Need To Go Shoot Them Selfs...
DamnNearPerfect/5
to anybody who said this mixtape is wack , im sorry but this mixtape is probably in the top 5 mixtapes when it came out, see i like all kind of hip hop but this nigga j cole is the truth like drake and wale, you cant say somebodys wack because you dont like the way he raps, this nigga is the truth , hip hop dont always have to be about drugs, gangs, and guns
ReplyDeleteShit is straight Fire!
ReplyDeleteThis mixtape is da shit he talks bout real shit. The new song he gots out is good
ReplyDeleteto its called (Whose world is this) well peace this mixtape is da shit so stop hatin.
People that think this is trash is crazy. He literally speaks the truth. People throwing his c.d out and everything but i bet been he reaches the top that same person will be in the same store at the same section buying a different C.d made by the same artist. Listen to all his words not just one line
ReplyDeleteOkay. I will drive back to I-80 and pick that CD back up. lol. But real talk. J.Cole? This kid is something to look out for in the future. It's not about catchy music, although one mainstream hit would really speed it all up. It's about real shit, what Cole is doing is making real shit catchy, he grinds like crazy and all you can do is respect. I don't care if you think Drake is better, you can't say Drake works as hard, J.Cole and Wayne are the hardest working artists. Cole did over 100 tracks or something like that and cut it down to 22 when he was finished? You can't say rap artists dont work hard. And J Cole is the man to prove it all. Look out for him because if he keeps getting more and more popular he will go down as a legend.
ReplyDeletei bet j. cole posted that first comment. just to get more genuine feedback. he's smart like that.
ReplyDeleteman this guy is fukn amazing! one of the freshest sounds i have heard in a long time. I read quite a few comments and like most the tracks peeps mentioned, but why didn't anyone mention WELCOME or WORLD IS EMPTY? those tracks are fukn dope man! big ups to grown simba, losin my balance and hold it down as well. J COLE is going to go very far. FUCK the fist ANON!
ReplyDeletebest mixtape ever... for real... Sounds like a 90's classic.... J. Cole is original from top to bottom... Best new cat out there
ReplyDeletei think we should all listen to anonymous (first dude who said j. cole sucked) instead of that scrub who signed him, jay-q or something.....hahahahha
ReplyDelete"converes conversin with the girls with curves like cursive" J. cole is on the come up. Far from garbage.
ReplyDeleteSick straight Classic Mixtape
ReplyDeleteLOL SOME1 SAID IT WAS 'GARBAGE' ABOUT THE TIME THIS MIXTAPE DROPPED.... ITS LIKE THE #1 MIXTAPE OF 2009, MAYBE THE DECADE U CLEARLY DONT KNOW UR SHIT
ReplyDeleteTO ALL MY OTHER BROTHERS OUT THERE... KEEP SUPPORTIN JCOLE.
ReplyDeleteJ COLE.. KEEP DOIN YO THING

ReplyDeletej u got wat it takes man, fuck the first azz nigga, i bet some1 paid him to say shit bout ,but aint matter we and the rest gat ur back. my lil bro is also coming up like you, spits like rain from the cloud.
ReplyDeleteThis Dude is sick!
ReplyDeleteMy Fav rapper along wit Lupe fiasco..
Im tired of these Garbage rappers talking about shit!
Niggas like J.Cole Inspire you to do Better!
I love this mixtape, along with The Come Up. J. Cole is the truth and Im glad he's representing NC. Real Hip Hop is BACK. Im convinced that anyone who doesn't like J Cole is a stan of Wayne and Drake.. That has to be the only reason anyone would say he's garbage. Anyhow, I cant wait for his album. NC stand up!
ReplyDeleteI hate to admit it but the most probable reality is that J. Cole won't get as much exposure as people signed on record labels like Young Money. Yes, people on Young Money are pretty much all Lil Wayne imitators, but they know how to sell music. J. Cole is crazy lyrically and like many of you guys have said, his flow is something to admire. Not sure if this is true but is Wale also signed to Roc Nation? If so, you can see how much exposure these dudes is getting, Jay-Z aint doing much to get their shit out there like Lil Wayne does with his people. Nevertheless though, J.Cole is a breathe of fresh air to us dudes that appreciate real music.
ReplyDeletej.cole is da truth wt made me start liking him is wen ii heard can i live/hold u down ive ben hooked ery since.n im likin hw he aint 4gting were he kan 4rm str8 outta da ville
ReplyDelete"wise enuff ta know money kant buy u hapiness r love us bt it will gt mii family out da struggle" real shit!
i just heard drake's leaked thank me later album... -6/9/2010 leaked.... and this mixtape kills his whole album lolz.
ReplyDeleteDrake has good flow, nothing cleaver tho like jcole... J cole is not only a good rapper he is a solid lyricist.. witty and entertaining, drake has good flow. that's about it. He needs to study lil wayne a little bit better, not saying lil wayne is the best lyricist, but drake can learn from him to get better lol.
Drakes album is aimed towards women, always talks about himself and women and yea, too soft for me, also hes rhyming scheme is the same in almost every song, his flows are starting to sound the same, not saying hes a bad rapper just needs improvement. J cole is on a whole different level.
J cole is going to kill for his first album debut, cant wait!

ReplyDeleteThis mixtape is straight fiya. Right now the game has 4 incredible artists; Wale, J.Cole, Wiz Khalifa, and Ace Hood. Whoever says this mixtape sucks deserves to be absolutely demolished by everyone here
ReplyDelete
