Drake - So Far Gone (Mixtape Review)

I've been listening to this tape for a week now every chance I get, doing my best to actually like it, since everyone around me is saying this dude is changing the game and shit. Honestly Drake is one of the worst rappers I have ever heard. His attempt at mixing rnb and hip hop fails horribly. Maybe he should try to do one or the other because as it stands now, he is just half-assing both. When he is singing there is a lack of depth to what he is saying. Most of the time it’s just something catchy repeated over and over. When Drake raps, he just rhymes every line with the last, over and over. The dude has no flow, no style, no charisma, and nothing to rap about. Sorry but this is nothing more than Lil Wayne’s retarded rnb/hiphop fusion offspring. There are two songs I liked, Successful and Best I ever Had.
