Big Kuntry - King Bread Box and Cocaine Kountry (Mixtape Review)

I have been going back and forth between these two mixtapes for the past three or four days now and I honestly couldn't tell you where one ends and the other begins. This is both a bad and a good thing. It's good because it shows consistency and that's important. It's bad because it says to me that Big Kuntry needs to switch up his style and be more charismatic. It seems like hes being too conservative. I'm not saying he needs to stop rapping and go pop like Kanye but dude definitely needs to switch it up. I love Kuntry, but as it stands hes just a guilty pleasure for me. He needs to be more lyrical and not afraid to try new things. It's almost as if Kuntry has an outline for how to make a hot single but he just keeps recycling that formula. You can only hear the same song so many times before it gets old. The mixtapes are pretty fresh but I can see them getting old real quick.
