Amen - Head On LP (Mixtape Review)

This was another shot in the dark for me trying to explore new artists. Amen is a white rapper from the south. I was curious as to how it would work, so I played along and listened. This little game ended in disappointment for me. His ideas and concepts were respectable, but he just doesn’t have the voice for rap at all. He has no possibility of gaining any real fan base. He seems like he worked hard on his lyrics/concepts and also had a good message in the music, but it just didn’t work for me. The beats were good and were representative of the best available to a low budget local rapper. This was a good effort, but rap is just not going to work out for him, 2.5/5.

  1. Hollywood
  2. Zach Morris
  3. Day In The Life
  4. Down South
  5. Tried To Tell Ya
  6. Arsonist
  7. Real Life
  8. Nature Boy
  9. Like 50
  10. Bad Situation
  11. Gotta Be

  1. I seriously think Amen is veryyyyy Goood!!!
i dont even know him and have never heard of him till i copped his album on the net and mad props to him, he's worked really hard on his LP, and in my book, hard work come before success, and i believe this Cat needs a chance, needs a fan base, so have a listen and see if you thought it was any good, for a debut, with hardly any budget i'l give it 9/10. well done Amen son
