Drake is easily manufactured?

Eddie Huang’s (of Hip Hop DX) opinion is that Drake is not a good representation of Hip Hop because he isn’t like Kanye; he is easily copied. He certainly brings in the pre-teen bitches aka the experts on quality hip hop. Still, I wouldn’t want to be on stage copying this. Full story HERE.

On the real though, I respect Drake’s music. Freestyling off a Blackberry or not, he can sing and rap. I bump his shit even when my lady isn’t around. I don’t need serious/meaningful hip hop lyrics all the time. Sorry haters.

Kaz-well – Fish Outta Water (Album Review)

Hip Hop DX rant:

First off fuck Hip Hop DX. They really fucked up on this one. This album was definitely sick. I don’t know much about Kaz-well but I do know he knows how to make a great concept album. He is from the Bay area but doesn’t show any characteristics of Bay Area music that I am familiar with. Yes Fish Outta Water has the same title as the recently released Chali 2Na album, but who gives a fuck. They were released a week apart.  Actually, it looks like this came out first but the original release date for Chali was June 23, 2009 (pushed back to July 7), one week after Kaz-well’s release. This was obviously a coincidence and will have no affect on this review.

Album Review:

Kaz-well seems like a somewhat amateur rap artist who put his all in to produce the best album he could. His lyrics are crafted perfectly to match the 80’s inspired beats provided by DJ Scotty Doo. This album is inventive in so many ways, but does have its low points, mostly due to the apparent inexperience of Kaz. This album comes together as a spiritual, emotional rollercoaster ride. The album begins with his description of his development as an artist stemming as early as infancy. Kaz then shows us he is more than just a stereotypical rapper: first he gives us a motivational track, Whisper of the Gods and follows it up by telling listeners tales of how he  shines with his artistry as opposed to showing off material possessions on Take Me Home. His “back in the days” track, Three Words, takes listeners to his teenage days of puppy love and heartache as listeners witness Kaz getting left by his schoolyard girlfriend. This was probably my favorite just because it is so relatable, not to mention well produced. Kaz touches on so many different subjects on album it is overwhelming. He isn't afraid to get spiritual on here as well. On the track The Beach he is trying to find his definition paradise (heaven, I guess). This type of subject exploration will most likely limit his acceptance in the rap world. Accepted or not this album is thought provoking, original, smooth, and positively inclined. Aside from some noticeable flaws in Kaz-well’s rap delivery the album is near perfect in my eyes. There is no point in breaking this album down track by track, it is a purely conceptual album that is done in such a way that you feel as if Kaz has taken you just where he wants you to go: on a trippy ride though time and a mystical walk in the clouds, 4.5/5. Are you ready for it?

Curren$y - This Ain’t No Mixtape (Album Review) Late

Curren$y Rant:

I have only recently started following Curren$y, “tha Hot Spitta,” after his past two mixtapes. He has what he describes on the track Galaxy as a “mild tone’ flow and it doesn't change much from song to song; you either like him a lot or you don’t like him at all. He has a lot of fans who all feel he is the best in the game. So, when I first heard him I had my expectations built up to hear some ridiculously different shit from the dude. However, on my first listen I didn't immediately feel him and brushed it off as misguided respect. I thought he had a really average flow, but once I figured out his style was more of a laid-back lyricism, I started to let him in to the Ipod. He has put out a bunch of mixtapes most of which are solid hip hop gems. Once you get past his low key style you really start to like the dude. He is a quiet, mellow rapper with a lot of intelligent lines that you may miss on initial judgments.

Album Review:

Curren$y’s freshman album, This Ain’t No Mixtape, probably shouldn't even be considered an album. It is exactly like his mixtapes and has no new concepts at all, just slightly improved beats. Still, true Spitta fans have jumped at the chance to purchase his album after having been leaked 7 mixtapes for free. Curren$y’s problem on some tracks is that he will get noticeably lazy with his flow at some points during verses.  Common subjects in his raps are: hitting groupie girls that he gets from rap stardom and also how much better he is than the rest of the rap industry. I feel he is not any different from many other artists in terms of content, but his style and blatant authenticity repackage the common occurring themes into a whole new rap offering. Re-gifting is acceptable in this case. He is very relatable because you can feel he is actually living what he's talking. I think there are a lot of rap fans who are like me and have not figured out what is so good about the dude. My advice for you is: play it over and over, it gets better with every listen OR just simply light up and smoke to it. The best track on here was Food For Thought, it was hot in all aspects: lyrics, beat, and hook. The other hot tracks on this album are: Blown Away, Scared Of Monstas, Elevator Musik, On My Plane, Sail On, Power Button, Food 4 Thought, Galaxy. Although there is nothing out of the ordinary on this release it is more of the same consistent intelligent laid back lyrics fans expect from Curren$y laid over unique smooth hip hop beats, 3.9/5.

Dorrough – Dorrough Music (Album Review)

Dorrough came out of nowhere for me. He is from Dallas and has some Texas swag. This album, Dorrough Music, is nothing serious; it is just a light and fun album that will bump in the system. His lyrics are mind numbingly simple, but are not terrible. According to his song A Whole Lotta he is 'new school hip hop.' I would have to agree (sadly). His upfront and dumbed down style is actually likable at times. He has some banging beats (some of which sound like I may have heard before). He is usually rapping about cars, bitches, and hustling. There are no terrible cuts on here but there are a lot of average and non-distinct southern rap tunes. However, he has a some banging singles that have a bit originality to them in terms of delivery and flow. This wasn't a terrible album but it leaves me wanting more consistent originality and more content. The cuts that bang were Boy I Grind, Ice Cream Paint Job, Piece And Chain Swangin, This Time You Was Wrong, Walk That Walk (familiar sounding beat though), and Wired To The T, and Trunk Bang. The remaining tracks we're mediocre and forgettable, 3.25/5.

Raekwon - Cuban Revolution (Mixtape Review)

This new tape Cuban Revolution, said to be released by Raekwon, is parading around as an official release but is nothing more than a blend (by Memory Man) of some Clasic Wu verses. There is no exclusive content here, but no one seems to be noticing. Nonetheless it is a banging mix of various Wu verses some of which didn't get the original bump-age they deserved. It plays like new material and all fits well together. There is not much else to say here, most of these verses  were parts of great songs before the blends. Enjoy 4/5.

Havoc - From Now On (Mixtape Review)

Havoc is one half of the group Mobb Deep (and the better half in my opinion). He is holding down Mobb while Prodigy is in jail. I haven't really been into Mobb Deep since Shook Ones days and became even less a fan when they signed to G-Unit. However, this new Havoc tape, From Now On, goes hard. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was. The production was good and most of the beats were banging for East Coast production. As far as lyrics go Havoc doesn't let down as he supplies his quality street knowledge on wax.  However, he sometimes uses a monotonic delivery which can make him sound boring on some tracks. You can tell when he is feeling tracks because he abandons that lazy flow. The most personal and deep track on here that stood out the most to me is, Always Have A Choice. The banging beat mixed with Havoc’s signature rhyme style match perfectly. You can tell he worked hard to drop real content that actually meant something. This was an altogether tight tape for Havoc despite a few mediocre tracks. He has definitely begun to regain my respect. The standouts that are exclusive to this tape were Bang Bang, Handle My Handle, H Is Back, Fly With Me, Always Have A Choice, You Take Her, and Sex Tape, 3.75/5.

Jay-Z has released the tweaked tracklist for his forthcoming Blueprint 3. The updated version will not include the rumored collaboration between himself and Nas, which was to be titled "Empire State of Mind." Instead, Hov has enlisted Alicia Keys for the track which will keep its original title.

Good news for Nas, I wouldn't want to be on a Jay-Z track either, but wtf is Jay thinking? Nas > Jay on his worst day.

Trav – Follow Me (Mixtape Review)

Trav is back with a follow up mixtape to his previous tape, The Way I See It (reviewed HERE), which we liked a lot. I am really digging his style. He keeps it gangster, but brings his own unique flavor to his music. His flow is usually dynamic and he can adapt to any beat he is given. On this mixtape, Follow Me, he deals with subjects of betrayal, enemies, and other elements of living the gangster lifestyle. Although these subjects have been beaten to death since the beginning of hip hop, Trav puts his own swag and style into his rhymes as to repackage the deal in a seemingly new way. He is on the come up and has no shortage of originality or talent. We will definitely be looking into his next tapes. The standouts were Is Everything Ok Pt. 1, Suit and Tie, Ride The Wave (old), My Bitch, No Bright Days, and Know. This was good tape from him, but packed with less bangers and more average tracks than his first tape, 3.5/5.

Papoose - Military Grind (Mixtape Review)

Bleys’s Papoose Rant:

Papoose is no longer a new artist in my eyes. He has been around for quite a few year gaining underground buzz by solely releasing mixtapes. Back in 2007, he was really gaining popularity within the NY street scene. He was on point with everything. He was as versatile as any artist could be. When you listened to his shit it made you want to pick up your pen and start writing rhymes (even if you were like me and had zero talent). In other words he was a true lyricist. He could spit in every style, outshine anyone, and send chills down your spine with his complex and yet down to earth street lyrics. Not only was he streetwise, but you could usually find some positive and powerful message lingering behind his music. Even if you re-listen to his old shit that you may have heard over and over (ANY of his first 14 mixtapes), you will still hear a line or two that makes you go HO-LY SHIT! His beats have never really been perfect, but he used to make them work. However, beats didn't matter much especially on his first few tapes. It was all lyricism; raw and uncut. There was a while in his career, before the deal with Jive, where his music would knock me out of my seat. Then … he got signed and down came the waterfall to water down every verse. It wasn't immediate though, it was more linear. Either way, up until early-mid 2009 I just couldn’t stand listening to him anymore.

Mixtape Review:

For an entire year between 2008-2009 most of Papoose’s tracks were sloppily written, poorly executed, missing any previous originality they may have had. It was only in the beginning of this year that he started to comeback to his old self. This new mixtape (#22), Military Grind, shows about 40% of what he is capable of. The hottest tracks on here that represent what Pap is really about as far as lyrics and flow are: Knock Em Down (so sick), Pay Homage, Will To Survive, So Much More, Show & Prove, Power Cipher, B.E.T Freestyle, TKO, and Amnesia. The rest of this 24 track mixtape ranged from mediocre to terrible, 2.75/5. I am still trying to find some way to burn Swaggaction out my memory. It hasn’t worked yet. To prevent you from wanting to chuck your ipod at the wall while listening to the bad tracks, I just took them out and left the standouts. For this version click the second (Trimmed) link.

Bow Wow Signs With Young Money

I don't think there is any pattern in the way Wayne signs people to his label. I have a theory however that Wayne only wants Bow Wow because he's small enough to fit in Drake's Louis Vuitton handbag. The best part is, if Drake ever falls on stage, Bow Wow can hop out of the bag and break his fall. It's a brilliant strategy. Lets wait and see how it plays out for them.

Some decent southern shit, definitely my favorite of the three but I only really listen to one track. If you download it listen to Microwave. 3/5







Shawty Red - Reloaded

Sounds like Jeezy except not really as good. His beats are better than his rap. Dude used to produce for Jeezy actually.

Nifty - Da Capitol Movement

Da Capitol Movement is Nifty’s first mixtape. You might have noticed we reviewed his second mixtape The Come Up first so make sure to read that. This mixtape is just as good as his second but I think Nifty is still trying to find his own style on this. He has that unique sound on The Come Up but you only get glimpses of it on Da Capitol Movement. His flow is still amazing just not as refined. Since he is still trying to find his style there aren’t too many songs that stand out as singles. Don’t get me wrong though, all the songs are good. I’ve listened to it a couple of times and I’ve never had to skip a track. If you are a Nifty fan you have to download this, and try to listen to it before The Come Up, so you can see the progression.

Joe Budden - Escape Route (Album Review)

The new Joe Budden album, Escape Route, has just leaked. I was worried that since he has been releasing a lot of material lately that this might be watered down a bit. This was not the case. The album was jam packed with concepts and substance. He is sticking with the insanity theme just like on Padded Room (reviewed by us HERE). Joey gets real personal on this new album and it works well. He is trying to mature as an artist and it shows. He touches on a variety of subjects that are relevant to his life such as how he: can't change the world on the World Keep Spinnin’, has made a lot of mistakes and is only human on Forgive Me, can never satisfy everybody on Good Enough, feels like he can’t be himself on Clothes On A Mannequin. His rhymes are introspective and give listeners deep insight into the thoughts and fears from within the mind of Joe Budden. His delivery is very fresh on here and it switches up a lot. It it clear that his “teeth clenched” flow works well on deeper beats but he can become a bit boring on less exciting or smoother beats such as those on the collabos with Young Chris and Wale. As far as the Slaughterhouse track, it hits you hard and leaves you wondering what fuck they are going to come with next. They all switch it up every new track that they release and the result is usually sick, as it was here. The Standouts were Anti, World Keep Spinnin’, Forgive Me, State of You, Good Enough, We Outta Here, and Clothes On A Mannequin. This album was content rich, but had a few mediocre tracks that prevent it from surpassing Padded Room, 4/5.

Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa - How Fly (Mixtape Review)

This new collabo between Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa got me pretty excited. I only recently warmed up to Curren$y after hearing his latest mixtape before this. He is kind of an acquired taste. Wiz Khalifa was one of those artists you immediately love or don’t care for, I am the former.  He has a very noticeable rap presence and an easy going rap style that fits in well with Curren$y. One downside to Wiz may be that he sounds a lot like Wale, but not enough to say that he is biting; there is a just a resemblance. This whole How Fly mixtape, as you can tell by the cover, is all about chilling out and smoking weed. There are no deep messages to be found, there are just two chill dudes making that laid back rap you can smoke to. One complaint about this would be that they both sound like they are in front of the beats rather than between them and their verses tend to drown out the beats. It is more of a sound problem. Some of the production could have been better on this as well. However most of the beats are smooth rap beats and fit in well with both artists. I feel like Curren$y lacked in the charisma and flow department at times. There were also a few weak and a few mediocre tracks. Don’t take this tape too seriously, it is fun, light music about macking chicks and smoking herb.The tape lived up to my expectations and came out to be a nice tape overall, minus the weak points. The standouts were Car Service, The Check Point, Layover, Friendly, The Life, Over The Building, and Rolling Up (my favorite), 3.75/5.

Freeway - This Is My Life (Mixtape Review)

Before you read this, start downloading this 2 disc mixtape, because you NEED to hear it. Freeway just put out two full discs of nothing but greatness. Read the tracklist and note the number of features. There are 5. That means there are 44 x 3 – 5 verses on here, give or take a couple. And guess what? There isn’t a single bad song on here, nor is there a single annoying interlude. This could of been 2 full hot ass albums but Free wants you to have it for Free. The mixtape is about his life (which you should have guessed from the title) but there’s a lot of content here that goes beyond typical gangster rap. Freeway has a great flow, but the way he can make even the weakest rhyme sound good is incredible. I can’t remember every line because I’m reviewing off of one play-through but I know there aren’t any that stood out and broke my immersion. Free changes his style and adapts to the beat with ease. The production fit him perfectly and the choruses were all good. There isn’t a single thing about this mixtape that I didn’t like. Only negative thing I can say is that he probably wont get radio play with this, but he definitely deserves it. Oh and Lloyd Banks was incredible on Reperation.

Poison Pen - The Money Shot (Album Review)

Immortal Technique's right hand man Poison Pen has come out with another album, The Money Shot. You can tell by the title that Poison Pen isn't holding anything back as far as content. However, his rapping skills are average, as are his concepts. His delivery is also average. What sets him apart is his voice. His unique rap delivery often has him extending the accent and drawing out annunciation of words. It effectively gives him a signature sound but gets old fast. It is certainly captivating on tracks he is featured on but not for an entire album. The production was average on this but had its highs and lows. This album was not meant to be anything more than a walk through Bed-Stuy, NY guided by Poison. As far as guests on this, I am not sure why he raps with Immortal Technique. They do not share any of the same content and contrast each other pretty badly. This is noticeable on The 2nd Amendment; the track was sick but Poison did not belong on it. The only standout track from Poison was Bk's Fat Boy . I guess Wtp can also be considered a standout because I enjoyed the concept and found it catchy and entertaining. The rest of the songs were average with a few mediocre singles thrown in for good measure, 3/5.

Rich Kids - Money Swag (Mixtape Review)

The Rich Kids have a very unique sound that grew on me over a few weeks. None of the members of the group take anything away from a track and have an excellent chemistry. They also have very good transitions from verse to verse. The Rich Kids all have good flows that kept me immersed in the music. The one problem I had with the tape is that choruses and beats on this often outshine the actual verses. On a couple of songs it sounded like it was a production problem. The lyrics aren't deep but it's fun. Stand out tracks were All In My Video, Ball, Rich Kids, I Don't Wanna Grow Up, and Swag Worth A Million.

Nipsey Hussle - Bullets Ain't Got No Names V.3 (Mixtape Review)

I hadn’t paid much attention to Nipsey Hussle in the past, but this new tape, Bullets Ain't Got No Names Vol 3, was hot. Before this I had only heard Nipsey on some feature tracks and random street singles that he released on DJ tapes. I wasn’t feeling him on them so I chose not to pursue him. This new mixtape made me sorry I was sleeping on the dude. You can tell that Nipsey is keeping it original in flows and subject matter on this. The tape had banging west coast production the whole way through, nice features, and hard rhymes from Nipsey. He has nice flows that get switched up every track. I was surprised to hear that he could really adapt to each track even though they were all very different beats. His voice is low key but he does a great job of not getting overpowered at all by the beats. Many of his rhymes are about his rags to riches story which is something that never gets old. He even has a political track that bangs just as hard as the rest of the album. That soul track Rap Music was ridiculously hot. It had banging rhymes, blazing production, and a nice message. Overall this new tape has turned me into a Nipsey fan. I was feeling it the whole way through, no need to name the standouts, 4.5/5. This is some quality shit play it over and over.

Chamillionaire - Mixtape Messiah 7 (Quadruple Mixtape Review)

Chamillionaire has just dropped a 4-disc mixtape that is apparently his last installment in the Messiah series. I haven't really enjoyed much of Cham's music in the past, but was open to the possibility that this mixtape, Mixtape Messiah 7, could convert me into a repeat listener. That was not the case with this tape. For an entirely freestyled tape it is impressive, but as far as listening goes this tape should have been brushed over with fine-tooth comb before its release. It was clearly done in a day or so. He didn't put enough effort into perfecting his verses and flow. On most tracks he had to either speed up or slow down his flow to finish his bars. Trying to fix mistakes by adjusting flow is just evidence of poor writing/bad freestyling. Another problem I have with him is that he constantly takes the flows of the original tracks he is freestyling over and does not really change the feel from the original song. He doesn’t put his own twist on the song, he seems like he is just adding a verse on it. He also tries to get on tracks that can not accommodate his flow. Many of the beats used on this just did not blend well with his bassy voice, namely the mainstream beats he used. He did a terrible job singing on a few songs. His flow usually had at least one thing wrong with it whether it be rushed, off beat, or having poor punchlines. I felt that most of the guests outshined him on the feature tracks. I only liked 5 songs off of the two discs which had fresh material: Internet Thugs Attack, Solo, Say Goodbye (minus Cham’s singing), How We Do It, and King Of Tomorrow. Denzel Washington had a terribly stupid but catchy hook and should also probably be considered a standout (mostly due to Z-Ro’s contribution and the hot beat). The remaining tracks ranged from average to mediocre for one reason or another. For having released such a large quantity of songs, this most recent mixtape has me looking for more quality over quantity in future Cham releases. Maybe I am just a born hater of Chamillionaire (because the initial reaction on the net has been all positive), but I just wasn’t feeling this, 3/5.

Travis Porter – I’m A Differenter 2 (Mixtape Review)

Travis Porter has the goofy vibe that you expect from the cover of this mixtape, Im A Differenter, except the three of them are also from the south which magnifies it 10x. These dudes' voices sound like a cross between lil Wayne and Rich Boy neither of which impress me. Not only do they sound like them, but they are even goofier than them both which is no easy accomplishment. The production on this was was good, but sounded like the standard ATL beats that we have all heard 100X. When they rapped I could hear periodic points of talent. However, their content is childish and mindless. Their best song, Turnt Up, is a memoir on how they turn the radio all the way up when driving. They rap as if they are talking to an infants. I was ready for one of them to try and tickle me through the radio. When it was over I didn't want to hear any hip hop for the rest of the day. Garbage, garbage, garbage, 1.5/5.

Krizz Kaliko – Genius (Album Review)

I respect this Bay Area dude and sidekick of Tech N9ne, Krizz Kaliko for having a completely different sound, which may be why he is a member of the Strange Music crew. He sounds like a mix between Ceelo (of Gnarls Barkley) and Andre 3000. However, I just wasn't feeling the dude at all. On his sophomore album, Genius, his whole style was annoying to me. His production was well-tuned but seemed altogether boring. He is talented in singing and can rap in his own different way, but I just couldn't get into it. He has a thousand different styles each of which initially grabbed my attention then lost it in about 15 seconds. The whole album is everywhere and nowhere at the same time. There are numerous original concepts that give listeners a look into some uncomfortable subjects such as an obsessive stalker and depression/bipolarity. You can easily notice the Bay Area influence in his style and with the features by some of the Bay Area heavy weights on this as well. He is definitely innovative in his music and we respect that on this site. I just didn't like his singing style, lyrics, or production choices on the majority of this album. It was a miss in my eyes. By all means check it out if you are into the possibility of Bay Area hip hop mixed with RnB and are into the Strange Music crew. It seems like anyone who is a die hard Strange Music fan is raving about this album, not me though, 2.5/5.

Hell Rell – Hell Up In The Bronx (Album Review)

Hell Rell is a mediocre rapper who is consistently average with his flow and lyrics. His fan base mostly comes from his street cred and gangster voice. I think of him as a gangster first, then a rapper.  Similar to most Dipset album releases, on this new album, Hell Up In The Bronx, there are a few tracks that blow away the rest of the songs on the album. As far as the Hell Rell releases, this is near the top which really doesn't say much. The song Hell Yea had all the elements of a standout track except it had a classic example of a terrible hook. I'm A Beast was weak in every way, as was I Got Beef. However, most of the others were quality tracks. The two tracks Got Enough Gunz and Never Gunna Dance were miles better then the rest of the album in terms of production and flow. The remaining standouts were Right On Time, U Don't Want It, and Top Gunnaz. This album was a strong release from Ruga Rell but it lacks the consistency that could separate him from the rest of the Dipset gang, 3.75/5.

Brotha Lynch Hung & C.O.S – Suspicion Vol.2 (Album Review)

Brotha Lynch Hung is one of the most entertaining (and underrated) dudes in rap. His music is just addicting; once you are feeling his shit you can’t get enough of it. His label is called MadeSicc and perfectly describes his music, its Sicc. He is a raw, grimey, and reckless. Although his subject matter is usually concerning cannibalism, murder, and gory gangster shit it is still easy to listen to and perfect for bumping in the ride. On his new album, Suspicion Vol. 2, Lynch Hung’s rap style is completely original, versatile, and jam-packed with hardcore lyrics. His signature style has him switching back and forth between his quick and slow flow throughout verses. His partner C.O.S. is not as skilled as a rapper, but still fits in well with Lynch Hung’s horrorcore style. His whole click of MadeSicc rappers is rough around the edges with their flow and delivery, but they make up for their shortcomings in charisma and style. This CD had some dark gangster tunes you can replay over and over, but I still liked the Gas Station Mixtape (reviewed HERE) a little more than this. This album also had some weak tracks in terms of both production and lyrics, such as Hell For A Hustler and Hit ‘Em Up (I never liked that beat). The standouts were Fuck You Pay Me, In The Mornin’, Kids In The Ghetto, King Kong, and We All In 3.9/5.

Chingy - Stars & Straps Reloaded Vol 1

This mixtape is what you would expect from Chingy. He sounds a little different but not much has changed. It sounds like his flow has matured a little bit but it's possible he's just trying to act hard. His lyrics are still retarded, just look at the track list and you'll notice he's destroying the english language at every opportunity. There's maybe one or two singles here but nothing incredible. Listening to two back to back verses from Chingy is tough, so I truly appreciated the features on this. Once I got to track 10 and realized there wasn't another feature for 7 tracks I almost gave up on the mixtape completely. If you're a die hard Chingy fan you'll probably enjoy it. No reason to get it otherwise.

Are you excited? Well, I am. Slaughterhouse has met and exceeded everyone’s expectations from day one. Their album, Slaughterhouse, was just the place I would expect them to let up, if only a little. I kept waiting for it and it just never happened. This album is easily the album of the year. An entire album with every song great if not amazing, intense lyricism, dynamic flows, meaningful rhymes, no bullshit singles, and raw beats; what more could you ask for? Nothing. Rappers for years have been trying to “resurrect hip hop.” Take notes bitches; this is how it’s done, 5/5. There is nothing else left to say, just get it.
