Drake is easily manufactured?

image

Eddie Huang’s (of Hip Hop DX) opinion is that Drake is not a good representation of Hip Hop because he isn’t like Kanye; he is easily copied. He certainly brings in the pre-teen bitches aka the experts on quality hip hop. Still, I wouldn’t want to be on stage copying this. Full story HERE.

On the real though, I respect Drake’s music. Freestyling off a Blackberry or not, he can sing and rap. I bump his shit even when my lady isn’t around. I don’t need serious/meaningful hip hop lyrics all the time. Sorry haters.

Drake Dances Like a Fairy, Falls Like One

Supposedly he has a torn ACL but that don't explain why he's dancing around on stage like he got a pair of wings and a wand full of pixie dust. Should of had your blackberry break your fall, son.

Nas Has to Fork over $44,000 a Month to Succubus

The party's over. The supreme court has just ruled that Nas has to pay $44,000 a month in child support to golddigger Kelis! I heard this shit and it made me noxious inside. Kelis is fucking crazy. That is fucked up, no one pays that much for child support. I don't care how rich you are. Nas isn't even that rich, I feel bad for the dude. THIS is why you get a prenup.

A Message From Chris Brown

Chris Brown finally apologizes about the Rihanna incident and begs your forgiveness. Can you ever forgive him? I can, just as long as he tells me which STD she gave him.

50 Cent Likes Money

If you love fake beef as much as I do, you'll be happy to know that 50 is at it again. This time he's gearing up for a Jay-Z beef and even wants to release Before I Self Destruct on the same day as the Blueprint 3(September 11th). Clearly getting wrecked by Kanye didn't do anything to humble this dude. Although, maybe now that hes fixed his buck teeth, the ladies will come through and buy 3 albums a piece. I'm betting against it though.

Twista to Join Bone Thugs?

The following is from an interview featured on hiphopdx:

DX: When I spoke to Krayzie Bone back in March he said he planned to have a couple of collaborations between himself, Tech and Twista on his Coming From The Midwest compilation. So can you confirm if the three lightning-tongued legends of the Midwest will be bangin’ out some joints together for that?
Twista:
Anything that them guys ever ask me to do, I’m gonna do it. So if you hear it from they mouth, it’s official. I don’t care what it is. Even if they tell you something that I don’t even know about yet it’s gon’ be official, ‘cause we got a sense of a unified movement with our style of music and how we do things. And we all from the Midwest, and I want us to be able to rep the Midwest to the fullest in the same way that the south and the west coast and everybody else [reps their region]. So, we got a renewed sense of how Hip Hop is to be represented from the Midwest.

DX: When are we gonna finally get a whole album from y’all as a trio…?
Twista:
Really, it’s something I could really start getting into now. I got a couple of projects under GMG that I’m trying to knock out [first]. We got a Do Or Die project that me and Traxter are about to go in together and put that project out. And then I’m definitely gon’ try to get in with Krayzie Bone, ‘cause it’s been overdue, and we already made plans and announced it to the people. So, I definitely wanna get it in.

DX: You think it’s just gonna be you and Krayzie, or maybe you, Krayzie and Tech?
Twista:
Oh nah, I’m trying to do the Bone [Thugs-N-Harmony] album. The project I’m talking about doing is I’ma be an honorary member of Bone and we just gon’ do a Bone album. It’s just Twista is gonna be a part of the group.

Jay Rock Inspired by Wayne?

On Working With Lil Wayne:There was an L.A. concert- I grabbed a few of my dudes and rolled backstage. We weren’t concerned about the show, wanted to see the artists and make some connections, you know? We ended up out by the tour buses after and I saw [Lil] Wayne. I told him straight up ‘I’m the new nigga in the city. I need you on a track’. He was like ‘Whatever you need, I got you’. Wayne…he’s a real nigga. He could've given me a fake number, but he didn’t. He looked out for me, like ‘Call me when you ready.’ I gave him a call and we made it happen.

Wayne inspires me. Seeing how he go in—he works like he hasn’t made it big yet. That tells me a lot. That tells me I got to go in harder too. If Wayne can still write a rhyme a day, I need to be writing two or three a day. [Laughs] I need to be hustlin’ and doing it.”
